- A bit of history - first to race solo across the N. Atlantic in true multihull. Designed, built and sailed tri Toria, to win the first Round Britain race - in first multihull to win a major open offshore race. Toria was first foam sandwich, setting the design style for all race tris to follow. Built winners of Solo Atlantic 1968 and winner GB11 of the first Whitbread around the World - amongst many others. Innovation has dominated my career through-out - in design and build methods in particular, and still finding new refinements 40+ years on, to further the efficiency of our KSS build methods and designs for our clients around the World. Built first boat in Texas in 1961. Moved from UK to NZ ten years ago.
